Who Are We?
We are Pastor Billiance Chondwe, our guiding light and inspiration behind all that we do. We are a small group of volunteers in Zambia, most who were Certified Health Workers with USAid before the pullout (Billy himself was Director of USAid operations in the Copperbelt region, prior). We are me, a regular guy who read about Billy in NPR Goats & Soda and decided to do something about this. We are YOU, donors from the U.S., Germany, UK, Australia, and so many others across the world, helping us find a way and spreading the word.
Our Cause
Aid Zambia is dedicated to supporting the on-going and growing work of Pastor Billiance "Billy" Chondwe in the remote villages of Zambia's Copperbelt. Through Billy's hard work, we are saving lives and helping people and families in remote areas of Zambia and Africa impacted by the USAID pullout to receive necessary care and aid, so that they may return to their lives, work, and families.
