What We Do And What We've Done So Far
Truly, we are as David to the Goliath of treatable disease in the villages of Zambia's Copperbelt. Our challenge is massive. In practically just one day, over 35,000 patients lost access to healthcare and all records of who and where they were. But, on a budget of only $9,000 - $12,000 USD/year of the $75K - 99K we need to fully budget this work
We have, as of March, 2026:
-
Identified and registered over 8400 villager patients outside the reach of Zambia's Health Ministry.
-
Established cooperating agreements with local religious and social organizations who act as distribution and coordination centers in our network.
-
Delivered life-saving prescriptions and food aid to all of the above, as well as education and ambulance as necessary.
-
Opened our office in Kitwe, Zambia, where we provide clinic services, collect donations and supplies and plan and train volunteers.
-
Purchased an older Land Cruiser that helped us reach villagers even during last year's monsoon season.
-
Purchased an (older!) ambulance which we have used to bring critically ill people to hospitals for emergency care.
-
Partnered with the Zambia Health Ministry to help plan and inform efforts nationwide, especially in remote villages.
